OpenAI’s Sora 2 is making the “uncanny valley” look quaint. The demos emphasize physics-aware animation, synchronized audio, and control over scene dynamics (water motion, collisions, lighting). Plus, Sora lets you insert yourself via Cameo mode, making narrative immersion personal.

The big shift: We’re no longer satisfied with video as artifice. The new baseline is: does it obey physical rules? Sora is being positioned not just as a content generation tool, but as a simulation engine for training agents that understand the real world.
